I used to have 2 splitters before the signal get to the cable modem, and the signal to noise ratio dropped below 29dB and the connection often got dropped
After I remove all the two splitters, I get
Signal to Noise Ratio 34 dB
and am happy.
I use dish network so do not need cable TV.
