Can I share the Internet with my neighbers? Rush!!!

I just moved into a new place, and I need to use Internet badly. But I don't sign a contract and try to save some money. I am wondering if I can share Internet with my neighbor. (I will pay my share.) All my concern is security.

Any suggestions? Pls help. Rush!!!
