Not really. CPU clock is just one factor to affect the CPU speed. There are other factors such as CPU architecture, pipeline, BUS structure and so on. AMD CPU clock is just 2.2 G but it beats Intel 3.4 G. Core 2 Due 1.8G is a good choice for genral use of computer, even for gaming.
