1. windows 2000 has NTFS partition with permission setting. windows ME is FAT. Therefore, you need to create a user on w2k, give permission on the disk. then login this ID from ME.

2. AS I know, ME not internet connection share. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, try to use win2k acts as internect connect PC and ME go to home network to browser the internet. Make sure ME's net card with 192.168.0.2, default gateway is 192.168.0.1, which is same as w2k internal IP.
