調光燈能省電嗎？（調暗些能少付電費嗎？）

朋友問的問題，回答不了，轉求各位。



調光燈能省電嗎？
本想節電，買了調光燈，但有人說：“調光燈雖然能把光調暗，但不能省電，因為總消耗功率沒變”，是這樣的嗎？

比如500W的調光燈，調暗些，是不是隻消耗50W了？這樣不是節省了嗎？可以少付電費了。但有人說的“總消耗功率沒變”的道理覺得似乎也對。難道花錢買了調光燈想省點錢，結果是吃力不討好？！
