bugcode_usb_driver erro on window XP

I have a new dell computer (Dimention 520) with Win
XP.

After I installed the Microsoft LifeCam (web Cam), my
window dies some times (quite often), with the above
error.

I search the google and microsoft.com, and I found articles say that if I apply the XP patch (sp2), this problem should go
away. However, the problem is still there even if I
apply the XP sp2 patch.

Do I need to remove the LifeCam software and reinstall it after I update the XP sp2 patch ?

Anybody can give me some help ? Thanks a lot !
