無線網絡如何防止被盜用，如何察看到？如何加密？

我家cable上網，一台機連著router,白天速度還可以，晚上即使一台機上網的速度極慢，朋友說可能網絡被別人盜用了，請教如何防止被盜用，如何察看到？如何加密？
