談談Dell的售後支持

背景：Dell 筆記本 Latitude D510 ，Windows XP Professional 操作係統。 由於瀏覽器故障，打開任何網頁後自動關閉。重新安裝瀏覽器，重新安裝保留數據模式操作係統都不能解決， 決定重新安裝刪除數據模式操作係統。 這樣所有的網絡驅動程序都沒有了，購買電腦時隨機的CD也找不到了，隻有到Dell 的網上下載。

目的：下載 網絡驅動程序，包括Ethernet cable 和 Wireless.

過程：（1）從Dell Support Latitude D510 的 下載網頁，找到兩個以 前安裝在電腦裏的驅動程序。
（２）先下載Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller ，
　　　　　　　　結果：軟件下載道硬盤後，不能啟動自動按裝。
　　　（３）下載Intel (R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
　　　　　　　　結果1：Wireless 安裝失敗，Error Message提示：沒有相關的支持的Wireless adapter. (我不是在安裝Adapter嗎？)
結果２：這個軟件包含有Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller 自動安裝成功．（陰差陽錯）
　　　　（４）下載　Dell _Wireless (US) WLAN Card　
　　　　　　　　　結果：自動安裝成功。　

結論：（１）３個驅動程序中竟然有兩個不能正確運行的？？？！！！
　　　（２）驅動程序有無經過嚴謹的測試？
　　　（３）要浪費多少使用者的時間？
　　　
以前聽說過Dell的抱怨，這次是我親身經曆。以後可能不再買他的機器了。
