Go to Control Panel, Click Regional and Language Options, in the pop-up menu, click Languages, and click the Details button under the Text Service and Language Input section.
In the new pop-up menu, stay in the Setting panel, click on the Add button in the Installed section. In the third pop-up menu, select the language as Chinese PRC (NOT TAIWAN), and choose the keyboard layout as the input mode you are familiar with, for example, quanpin. Dont forget to click the Language Bar botton in the preference section in the same menu. DO check the show language bar on the desktop option. When all these things done, click OK, OK, and OK.
Click on the EN button in the right-low-side corner, select CHN, then you can begin to input your Chinese!
