First thing to check is CPU temperature.
1. Whenever the computer is shut down, immediately reboot it into CMOS and check the temperature. If the temperature is above 70 C, it means that the CPU is very hot, and will be shut down anytime.
2. One thing you can do before you change CPU fan is to clean up all the dirt accummulated in the radiator right above the CPU. Becareful while doing it. First to discharge yourself before you touch anything there; second to use wooden stick, such as a tooth pick, to do the job.

After all the job mentioned above are done, Check the CPU temperature again., I guess that it should be brought down.
