it is quite normal of course. Before my router went dead, PCs also hooked onto it.

I just wondered why the phone still works (behind the IP adapter) with the current hub setup while the PCs don't. I expected either none or all.

I am expecting a new router to arrive in a few days, so the suggestion from you guys to use a PC to replace the gateway will not be tried. But I sure do appreciate it. Thanks guys!
