Look like the Windows 2000 on your system is corrupted. You probably need to do the following repairs on the system:
1) Reinstall the OS and upgrade to the latest Service Pack and install all required patches and hotfixes.

2) Upgrade to Windows XP if it is a PC or Windows Server 2003 if it is running as a Server.
