Norton software rebates Scam?

One year ago, I bought a Norton software 3-in-1 package from Bestbuy, which includes systemworks, firewall, and antispam. I paid $90 plus tax. It should be free after rebate, but I never received any rebate checks. I didn't save any copy of the rebate forms so I can't track it now. I went to Norton's website and searched for it without much luck. I used my friend's old Norton CD for the "upgrader" rebate, it might have something to do with it. Anyways, I will never trust the "free after rebate" advertisement anymore. I will go to pricewatch.com and buy an older edition of Norton for $13 with free shipping every year from now on.
