The price for laptops is really good now.

I have ordered a dell laptop by phone with a good price. It sounds like a good deal to me.

I think the laptop I ordered is the model 2400 with a 40 GB hard drive and with a P4 processor (2.53 GB). The price for that model is only $ 499. For upgrade of ram from 128 MB ram to 256 MB, I paid another 70 bucks or so. Plus $130 some bucks for a 4 yr warranty and 20 bucks for a cable, the bottom line is $ 670 + after mailed in rebate.

I will get a free printer with copy function, a Kodaka digital camera and a free AOL trial for 6 month.

The local stores also sell the laptops with very good price, less than 600 dollars for one. Usually one of these laptops was sold sell over 1000 bucks.

I think it may be a good time to buy laptops.
