請教：有無必要裝中文WINDOWS XP?

I have a new computer with pre-installed XP home edition(english version) However, the only english version software I　have is office2000. Other softwares I have are mostly Chinese version. Do I need to install a Chinese version of XP? Can I do a dual boot of one English version XP and a Chinese Version XP? If so, how to do it?
