I think Chinese often just want to find shortcut or tricks for everything, from getting good grades to making money. The truth is shortcut or tricks don't work in the long run. Only hard work will get you the real results.  If Chinese don't change that mentality, everything they do will turn out to be "penny wise pound foolish".
