I think Chinese have been demonizing Japanese.

The world has changed and Japanese have changed,  I just can not picture Japanese as war criminals.
Chinese, on the other hand, are going backwards politically.It is not a judgment call but I agree with 知人知麵's estimate about the capacity of China  Japan. Should there be a war, it will be 甲午海戰 all over again.
