I had been afraid to drive in China, but finally put on the driver's seat due to circumenstance. But it turns out it is not that hard: Drivers in China are more alert, and they expect others to break the rules/laws. So if you do something differently (such as forcing a left turn), others will take evasive actions to avoid a collision, LOL.
But it will be dangerous for a Chinese drive to drive in US: a Chinese drive is used to breaking rule/law and others will take evasive actions. But in US, this will be cause for accident.
