其實有立場比數學考800重要多了。

國人比較缺乏的character 是 conviction, and faith (doesn't have to be religous)。 But you gotta believe in something. this is very important for human spirit, and this faith 不是從盲從來的，而是經過思考和辯證生出來的一種力量。

我覺得教育孩子耶是這樣，會這個會那個遠遠不如have faith 重要。have faith, have interests, beleive in something and themselves (hopefully something good and beautiful <LOL) is far more important than teach them how to do calculus. Of couse, learning is also a very important experience that build character, the goal should never be to get into certain schools, the goal is always to have a worthy human experience.
