As long as you side with him/her, even if he's gone all negative on you, you will defend his words as fake posture, and you will "understand" him. You will promise on his behalf that, deep inside, he wants to be your friend, and you will be singing kumpbaya together in arms.

Since when pointing out other people's lies about you and himself is considered unfriendly?

Will last night's debate move voters? Probably not. But from the debate itself, how come there is even slightest doubt who won that debate?

Romney and his supporters had claimed that almost everything Obama did was wrong, before last night. But all of the sudden, Romney was agreeing with Obama on almost everything in foreign policy, and the only emphasis was "I will do it more effectively". Of course he's not going to tell you how, and he doesn't seem to know how, you don't seem to care how either. But yeah, that's such a powerful message in debate. I agree with everything what you did, but I could be better.

Sure, Romney won the debate before you even turned on TV.

Perception is reality. Welcome to the real world.
