Her son had major in comic creation for 4 years because he thought he was interested in , but now works at a store selling frame, even cannot afford rent, live with mom. Her daughter had major in music history, now works at post office as temp. Years ago I told my wife  both of them just waste money and time they should go to community college to get some training which would fit them, instead of thinking they are entitled to have "college education" no matter what their capability is. In China, after expansion of high education  in 2000s, it has similar situation, many college graduates are less capable as those from technical schools in 1980-1990s
