America has been benefiting from it - higher pay, cheaper goods.
China and other developing countries have been benefiting from it - more investment and more exports.
To me, to keep this going is to raise tax from current level (yes, it sucks), and pay for those permanent job losses. Basic manufacturing jobs even moving out of China are not likely coming back to US, but rather going to Vietnam and Honduras.
Well, that's part of globalization.
