My suggestion would be "No". Obvisously, she can't face temporary failure in her life and does not know how to deal with it, even at her own country and own home. How could anyone expect her to do better in a totally different environment. She will just feel more frustrated and I don't think you as an outsider can handle that, and if she planned to commit suicide now, how can you prevent her from thinking about that again when facing more difficult situation. I think the best thing to do is ask her parents to work with her to face the obstables in her life and overcome it. Of course, it takes time and effort, but she's their daughter and it is their responsibility, not yours.
