As pointed out by this piece, BO is actually the first heavy-weight 太子黨 getting hammered.

Of course, any criminal punishment dealt to high-rank CCP officials was because they lost the political battle. But it will signal a new page in the party - the pie is no longer big enough to keep every heavy-weight prince and princess happy. Their power struggle could start and lure general public into it.

Didn't I predict that a few years back?:) A start of power struggle might lead to a start of democracy infancy - all kinds of news/info from different interest groups.
