為健保法案投關鍵一票的共和黨大法官他也知道健保法案有嚴重的不完善的地方和執行上的眾多問題。但敬佩他的是，他知道這個方向是正確的，在麻州也是正確的。如何完善這個製度，還有很長的路可走。不排除兩黨不合作，到最後始終無法正常運行的可能性。
