first couple of yrs. here, as a graduate student, but has been going to the barber shop for over 20 yrs. now.  I, like many HBG who have lived here for a number of yrs., have bought a new house for many yrs.  Our income is actually at the top 3-5% in America.  Maybe you are not doing well, but do not simply assume everybody else is miserable and keeps misleading readers.
