if i understand it correctly, this would give an "overall idea" by breaking down to different categories and by giving certain "weight" (%) to each categories.. it does help creat a broad view, although life is far more complicted. it is a good idea though, which would help in "pros and cons" analysis. i used the following excel format, to give an example. Am i interpreting it right? (only the total of all categories need to be equal to 100%, but the scores from US and China combined don't need to be equal to 100, right?)
