I was strong, when I was young. In the coutryside (5 years during the cultural revolution), I could do everything a peasant did, some works I did even better, including carrying two large buckets of liquid manure (pretty heavy) on a shoulder with a 扁擔 to a field several miles away without stop. Only two trips for half a day. So you could imagine how far I had to travel with a heavy load.
