If you have a timing gun (or timing light (another name)), clamp its battery probes to the battery posts, clamp the other coil clump (or magnetic clamp) on the spark plug wire, you will see if there is any problem of sparks (time light is lighting up if you ask some one to crank the engine, try all spark plugs). If all plugs have light, it will be the problem of your fuel pump, fuel pump fuse, fuel filter or fuel line. Most likely it is the fuel pump. In old cars, if you turn your key in the first position, not crank the engine yet, you could hear the fuel pump working or pumping fuel, "tsi, tzi"sound in quiet environment.
Old saying, in case you have hard time to start your engine, if the engine is cold, problem is electric; if the engine is hot, it is the fuel problem.
