Did you provided any documentations that include receipts?

I have samilar case as yours.  My car only 7 months old (bought brand new) cost $26,700 and insurance paid $19,000.  

However, did you claime any injury, day off?  I took about 3 weeks off then paid additional $8,000.  

If your car total, you need to see specailist of auto crash doctor to find out any injury.
