這個敘述也有點怪

AZ official 說:

the van had been southbound on U.S. Highway 93 at about 1:30 p.m. and was trying to turn west to access Pierce Ferry Road when it collided with the oncoming bus, which had been traveling northbound

van 是往南走, Piece Ferry是西邊是在右手邊, 不直接右拐下去了嗎?  為什麽會轉到左邊?
