based on Haynes Work Shop Manual, if you have changed your battery (or disconnected it ), some vehicles (for example, Ford) need to be calibrated as following： 

turning your ignition on putting your tran in drive with your foot flat on the brake peddle and hold for 3 minutes， and then turn ignition off， and then back on with the car in park and no peddle , do not start car to do this just ignition on.

then everything should be ok.

有的車，比如福特，當你換過電池或者斷電，你需要重新設置：

1.把鑰匙擰到ON，不打火，把擋掛在D，腳踩煞車，三分鍾不動。

2.把車鑰匙擰回，再擰到ON，此時的擋放在P，不踩刹車。

這麽做了，一切不正常的就應該正常了。切記：在此期間不打火。

這類麻煩事都是為宰車主設計的。有的車需要到敵勒去換電池，否則，需要去問敵勒號碼輸入後才能把收音機打開。可當你去換電池後不久，有的車，擋掛不上了，你去敵勒，就說你得換什麽什麽零件。

你需要買一本Haynes work shop manual，專門修你車的，大約20刀之內，零件店有賣的。有問題就讀一下。
