HP F720 Rearview Mirror Mount Dash Camera

Convert your rear view mirror into a 21st century device with the HP Car Camcorder f720 mounted in your vehicle. The f720 is designed to fit over many existing rear view mirrors in seconds without having to hang another device to the windshield. This advanced Super HD 1296p camcorder with an ultra-wide angle lens records your trip in amazing detail. The included car power adapter has a long cord for easy installation and assures the f720 is always ready. When you start the car, the f720 automatically starts recording video with no need to push any button.

 

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)

The f720 comes loaded with ADAS features such as Lane Departure Warning System (LWDS), Driver Fatigue Alert, and Low Light Warning System. It will be important to review the User Manual for further details on how to enable and utilize these features. It is important to note that these features are for reference only and will not control your vehicle to prevent accidents.

Built-in, 3-Axis G-Force and motion sensor

No one expects to get into a driving accident, but when it happens, the built-in G-force sensor can detect these events and trigger Emergency Video Recording mode. These emergency recordings are date and time-stamped as well as protected from loop recording overwrites.

 

 

Easy to Install and Use

The f720 is designed to fit over many existing rear view mirrors in seconds. The spring loaded clips in combination with the mounting straps will ensure a secure installation. The lens is easily adjustable to adapt to the angle of the mirror. The car power adapter has a generous 3.5 meter (11.4 feet) cord that accommodates easy routing in almost any vehicle. Once installed, the f720 automatically begins recording when the vehicle starts and powers down when the vehicle is turned off.

Flexible Features

The f720 come equipped with many features that can be very useful in different situations. Features such as motion detection, photo mode, and live microphone on/off. With motion detection enabled, the f720 will record video when any movement is detected. This is a great feature for a parking garage. Easily switch from video to photo mode to take amazing digital pictures. Quickly turn off or on the microphone with a touch of a button.

Loop Recording

The f720 records video clips of 1, 3 or 5 minute lengths (customer selectable) on to the installed microSDHC memory card. The standard loop recording technology prevents storage overload by erasing the oldest previously recorded file and replacing it with the new one.
