這是啥意思?

幾天前路過WV，在一INTERSTATE HIGHWAY上行駛，為避讓後麵的一輛警車，打燈，check right lane, make sure there is no vehicle on my right side, 換lane,哪知被後麵突然冒出的一輛車按了喇叭. 估計這車在我的車的盲點. 緊接著警車給我閃燈, 並開出一張citation.

當時想和警察argue, 但看到他背後過往飛馳的車輛, 怕他出事，而且天上下著大雨,就放棄了.  警察
let me call back in 10 day. 我該如何談，這種citation會有什麽結果？謝了先!
