全保換半保的問題

吃了ticket被記點, renew保險時半年漲了130多. agent建議把舊車改成半保(10+ year old car, 10+ mile), 這樣能把保費降下110~120. 我理解的是如果對方撞我, 又沒有保險, 或者hit and run, 我得自己出錢了. 想請教建議這麽做嗎?

兩輛車半年600多, 這個rate怎麽樣? AAA 和costco的保險怎麽樣?
