but I like the way you presented your problem in such details, we don't see this often here. It made it much easier for those who want to help.

I would first of all disconnect the battery for 20 or so minutes, hopefully it will reset something electronically, if the shop hasn't done so. If it doesn't help I would go to Auto zone to have it cleared for all the codes, even it doesn't show any, then go from there.
