Thanks for the comment. The police just recorded license & insurance information and the descriptions of how the accident happened from me and the other driver, but did not issue a ticket to the other driver. The other driver was driving her mother's car -- and the police waited for her mom to come for their insurance information.

I called the other car's insurance company late last night and they will send an adjuster to check my CRV's damages. I also called my insurance company this morning about this accident after reading some feedback from here.
