4 runner is a truck, though people call it SUV. They are good for different things. 4 runner is more strong, solid, tough and safe. It is good for off road and bad weather., but it not as enconomic as pilot . It runs like a truck, bumpy, noisy, but a lot of men like it because it is a real off road SUV. Pilot looks big and strong but it just look like, it is not strong , but it is soft and smooth, more comfortble and more gas saving. Put them this way: Pilot looks like a guy, but it is a girl. 4 Runner is a real guy. Personally, I will pick 4Runner.
