after driving for 10 miles, the cluster panel should show

engine temp about 85 degree C.  if below than that, it might be an indication of thermostat failure.  that should be an easy fix (parts is $4, you can change it yourself or the shop charges for half an hour).  if the engine temp is of no issue, look at (1) switch (the button or dial in control panel); (2) the solenoid (near firewall between engine and front dash.  replacing is not hard but some cars may have limited space and will lose some coolant during the changing). be aware, solenoid can be tested by connecting a multimeter to measure resistence.  if it is perpetual open, it's dead.
