請問大俠們：買新車時是否需要買Vehicle Protection Plan

買了一輛Toyota RAV4給兒子住校外買東西和返回家（4小時車路）用。買車時，finance的人強烈建議購買10 year‘s Vehicle Protection plan （$100 deductable per service） for $1，890.  The plan covers Parts and & Labor for Covere Repair, Rental Car, Towing, and Travel breakdown cost.  I am thinking that the new car has 3 year warranty and I bought car insrance.  已經買了，這兩天可以推掉。請問這個plan需要買嗎？ 大家都買不買這樣的plan？ 謝謝。
