Radioactive Japanese car, at Russian customs in Far East

In the maritime port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Russia, Kamchatka) a Japanese car was held showing radiation levels exceeding legal limit- report local customs, on Monday.
The car was detected during routine radiation monitoring of goods coming from Japan. Custom officials found increased emission coming from a used «Honda CR-V". The radiation levels recorded was four times higher than the natural background radiation, according to the report. Kamchatka Customs with Rospotrebnadzor ( consumer rights protection agency), Kamchatka region have detained the car.
In all, since the accident at the nuclear power plant "Fukushima-1", Kamchatka Customs have found 34 Japanese goods with high background radiation that were eventually all removed from Russian territory.
