asr is working with abs side by side for traction control. those sensors are detacting the resistance generated from wheel spin and sending signals to ECU. when an asr wire is stretched or twisted, the resistance could be easily altered, causing the indicator on cluster light-up. most likely you will need to replace the faulty wire. it's not a cheap part though.
i know the wires on my car but not sure on your specific model. you can scan the codes which will tell you exactly which sensor is failing.
as for braking light is on when you brake, it might indicate the brake pad(s) being worn out. have a shop check it if you are not diy type.
