超速罰單請教

過節去加拿大，剛過境3、4公裏被潛伏的警察抓了個現行，說是100公裏的限速跑了140。

當時剛超過一車速度還沒減下來，另外陽光刺眼看不清儀表盤，再說，即使能看見儀表盤可上麵的公裏數字很小，醒目的是英裏。

想上庭，請問這些理由能不能得到寬大處理？另外罰單上貌似沒提點數，光是罰款。
