MDX GPS/DVD Player

The GPS (and DVD player) system of my MDX (year 2004) does not work now. The message in screen says "DVD Reading error ...". The GPS map was updated 3 years ago (in 2009) in the car dealer, but now ... Anyway, would you please give me any suggestion what I should do with it? (replacement, portable GPS, etc.). Thanks in advance.
