When I saw some individuals making motorcycles (OOC for instance)to make big $, I could not imagine how stupid the buyers were. They had nothing about quality control such as specifications, ASTM/ASTM/ISO...compliance. people don't know what grade of material they used, if the welds had X-ray check, if they had corrosion/fatigue test....
The buyers are cool to buy cool bikes, but there is no safety means taken at all during the manufacturing process.at least no one has mentioned on TV.
From safety standpoint, bikes made in chana' mfc are defintely better than the OCC.
