DIY Honda Transmission Fluid Change report

Car: 2007 CRV

Transmission Fluid: Honda ATF DW-1, can not find the original Z-1 anymore, was told even Acura use DW-1, hesitate but decide to trust Honda USA headquarter

Price: $75 a case of 12 bottles, 1Qt each.

Time used: Try not to do a complete flush, so I changed 3 times every 200 miles to dilute the old fluid as much as possible at around 58000 miles, each time 20 minutes of labor. Redo it yesterday one more time at 70,000Mile.

Result: the transmission runs much more smoothly after the initial 3 time changes, I don't feel the head knocking effect anymore when I speeded up. It feels even better after yesterday's change. I guess the new DW-1 is full synthetic. Next change might be at 95000 miles
