Disconnect Battery for a few minutes

Of course make sure there is no urgent problems that need to be taken care of.  Check your oil, coolant etc.  If you don't see a problem disconnect the NEGATIVE connector (black) from the battery for about 5-10 minutes.  Re-connect and the light should go away.  Congratulations if it does not come back.  If the light comes back on you need to get it fixed.
