i think you can. here is what you do:

1. try to use the brake less, ie, drive slowly whenever you can, use the engine to slow down whenever you can..

2) 每次開完車，摸摸後輪，看熱不熱？

3）plan your route everyday so that you can avoid intersections and traffic lights whenever you can

4) pray, and say nice things to your car once in a while
