2 years ago, one lady in my group sent her 3 year old Accord to Walmart for oil change. Oh her way back home, the car was broken on the high way, (very dangerous) and the engine was burnt down because the mechanics emptied the old oil and forgot to fill up new oil.
She sued Walmart, and the store denied and called her a liar. She spent so much time in law suing by collecting evidences, towing her car to different store for diagnosis and calling expert witness (a college professor majoring in auto). A local TV station heard the case and anchor lady interviewed her in her house. The case lasted about a year and, eventually, she won last year. However, she spent so much time fighting and experienced roaller-coast emotionally. The compesation she received was not worth for her time and frustration.
