I saw a used 4WD 2008 Pilot for sale by private party. 35000miles, 2 years and 9 months old (3 months, 1000 mile left on original warranty). Asking $18000. Has a small dent in the front bumper, otherwise OK. Seeking advices:
(1) good price? how much should I offer?
(2) do I still need to take it to machanics, even if it still has warranty left?
(3) Should I take it to honda service and run the 1 hour long test, cost $170? or local machanic, who may not have all the testing equipment?
(4) what are the major items warranty does not over? tires? brake pads? Given the mileage, assuming never have been changed, how soon and how much?
